Al Stewart:
This venerable singer-songwriter is still doing what he does best, and clearly his best is as good as ever.
—Miami Herald
Al Stewart came to stardom as part of the legendary British folk revival in the 1960s and ’70s, developing a combination of folk-rock songs with delicately woven tales of great characters and events from history. Stewart has released 19 albums, and he is perhaps best known for his hits “Year of the Cat” and “Time Passages.” He played at the first ever Glastonbury Festival in 1970, worked with Yoko Ono pre-Lennon, and shared a London apartment with a young Paul Simon.
Dave Nachmanoff has toured the world on his own and as the guitarist and opening act for Al Stewart at venues as far-ranging as London’s Royal Albert Hall and the Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia. He performed with folk legend Libba Cotten at 9 years old and has slowly built a grassroots following by touring around the world.
